HUMC seeks to offer opportunities for fellowship and spiritual growth for anyone interested.  We offer Sunday School Classes and LifeGroups throughout the week.

SUNDAY

NEW BEGINNING ADULT CLASS

The New Beginning class meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Conference Room. They are currently using the book by Rose Publishing "Myth-Busters".  This is a study addressing myths about God & Science, God's Existence, Spirituality, Angels, Jesus, the Bible, and Heaven.

"DECOMPRESSION" CLASS

Meets every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Small Conference Room.  ANYONE who feels the need to "decompress" and meet with other Christians for fellowship and encouragement is welcome. We live such hectic lives that sometimes we lose focus on what is really important. We look forward to the relationships we already have to be strengthened, and for new relationships to develop. One of the main goals is to see other families attend Sunday school (both kids and parents), and then to attend the second worship (10:30) together as a whole family. Anyone who wishes to grow with us is welcome.

MIXED ADULT CLASS

Mixed Adult Sunday School Class meets at 10:30 p.m. in the North Hall, after the first worship service. They will be starting the Adam Hamilton study entitled "The Journey, Walking the Road to Bethlehem."

ABDAS CLASS

This class meets Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the North Hall.  They are studying the Book of Mark by N.T. Wright.

GOD'S HANDIWORK

This group started in 2006 for people (men, women & youth) who wanted to learn how to knit and/or crochet.  Since then the group has grown, making afghans for our church’s graduating seniors, prayer shawls, baby afghans for our church’s new additions, dishrags and potholders to be put in the food room baskets at Christmas, bookmarks for the first graders when they get their Bibles, and also to be put in the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes.  They make baby items to be given to Lifeline in Millersburg and Morningstar Pregnancy Center.  They also make hats and scarves for donation to Neighborhood Center, Bethesda Mission, Kepler Home and several other organizations.  Yarn is provided.
